Revolt Fitness Challenge [1]



Hey guys! 

I know. I know. You’re probably thinking "this is a book blog, why are there fitness blah2xs in here?”. Well, for the most part, I would like to say that I rarely divulge any of my personal life in this blog, but I think I may have mentioned back in January that I wanna change that? I really couldn’t remember. But anyway.

When I received an email invitation last month to join a certain Revolt August Uprising challenge for free in exchange for being a Revolt fitness blogger. I thought this must be the universal divine sign that I should really pay attention to my health, lol.

Revolt Fitness is founded by Nichole Huntsman, who will be basically your own personal trainer. As I explored the website, I watched her intro/video about how it all began. And it was really inspiring. At least I was inspired to have that kind of story too someday! 

How it works. Basically, every month they have a new challenge (called ‘Uprisings’), and I was invited to participate for August, called “August Uprising: White Hot Before and After Challenge”. Membership is for $10/month, and you can actually access some free workouts on the site. (You can visit the site to know more about what I’m talking about)

When my username and password arrived, I immediately went to the site so I can start with my preparations for this fitness challenge. I learned a lot about how to measure and categorize my type of body, preparing healthy meals, and of course the exercises. I’m so excited to start!

HOWEVER! I got sick for this first week of August (until now actually)! So I was only able to do the first TWO days. After that I really couldn’t finish the exercises without getting sicker. Plus I lost about 3lbs because I rarely ate. So I know that’s not part of the program but I’m taking it as a “jumpstart” lol. 

Next week, I’m all about getting serious about it, since I’m getting better everyday. I hope I’ll be fully okay next Monday because I really plan on being strict on my diet and exercise. :) And with you guys as my witnesses, I do hope that encourages me further.

Moving on, I will be posting my before and after shots on the last week of August (because I’m honestly embarrassed with the before picture I took. I had rat’s hair nest, and I looked terrible, but hey I was sick! lol). And hopefully the after picture will be waaaay better and I’ll be slimmer and healthier looking.
