Coffee, Books and Me turns 2! (with GIVEAWAY!)

If I had a baby (real life adorable little me kind of baby) when I started my blog, he/she would be 2 today! YEY! Oh, wait! I think I can consider this blog my “baby” until the right one comes along, :)

So, it’s been two years since I started blogging. (April 5, 2011) Wow! Where did the days go by? So much has happened since that day I decided to make a blog. I remembered we were staying in the hospital for my dad’s treatment for his Ca when I made my blog. It was one of my darkest moments in my life where my love for reading helped me stay sane and entertained.

Anyway, for the past two years, I’ve learned so much about blogging. My reviews on books have improved exponentially,haha. I was able to establish good relationships with lots of publicists and publishers and fellow book bloggers. I’ve entered so many reading challenges, hosted giveaways, blog tours, promoted books, experienced a book expo, met authors, received so many books from authors, publishers and won the others from other bloggers. I realized that there are so many good natured and generous hearts in the world. Despite the many bad news we hear and read about everyday, I am thankful for my fellow book bloggers, and other people involved in the book publishing industry including the authors, for being part of this HUGE and WONDERFUL industry and making wonderful stories. From the authors, editors, the big guys (investors, and such), down to the people printing the books, packing the books, selling the books, just EVERYONE. A huge THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. May the book industry live forever! BOTH the old fashioned printed books and the digital ones. :)

NOW, it’s already a custom having a GIVEAWAY whenever there’s a blog celebrating its anniversary. And of course I won’t back down from that.

For the past few months, I gathered ARC books, both read and unread, I got and stowed them away for this special occasion. But since shipping will be expensive, I decided to offer it to Philippine residents only.
