The Cupcake Club Party Blog Tour

Hi everyone! Welcome to my Cupcake Club Party Blog tour stop. Find out what The Cupcake Club: Winner Bakes All by Sheryl Berk is all about and what I think about it below :)

Meet Sadie.

When she's not mixing it up on the basketball court, she's mixing the perfect batter with her friends in the cupcake club. Sadie's definitely no stranger to competition, but the oven mitts are off when the club is chosen to appear on Battle of the Bakers, the ultimate cupcake competition on TV.

But the real battle happens off camera when the club's baking business starts losing money.

With the clock ticking and the cameras rolling, will the club and their cupcakes rise to the occasion?

My Review:

Winner Bakes All is a cute and all clean sweet fun middle grade book. I don't usually read middle grade books except for blog tours and some other exceptions.

Winner Bakes All is a simple story about a girl named Sadie who have loyal friends, who are also part of her baking club. The little group they have is a good portrayal of what eqch friendship must have. Loyalty and love. Amidst the trials Sadie faced, her friends are there cheering her up and vice versa. And the story is not all bad too! TV competions especially when it involves food is so fun to read, kind of reminds me of junior Master Chef, except this one involves cakes and pastries.

The writing was good and age appropriate. Easy to read and understand. Definitely not boring. I especially appreciated the friendship the girls have and how they came thru their tough times together and they became more matured. A nice little touh of lesson there. This book will be more appreciated by girls in the middle grade age. Though I myself enjoyed it a bit too :)

Note: A copy was given in exchange for an honest review.
