Waiting on Wednesday: Requiem by Lauren Oliver

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme by Jill from Breaking the Spine, featuring books that we are excited upon.

Hi guys! Welcome to another WoW post here on Coffee, books and me. And for this week, I’m waiting on:....

Title: Requiem
Series: Delirium #3
Author: Lauren Oliver
PUblisher: Harperteen
Expected Publication: March 13, 2013

Now an active member of the resistance, Lena has been transformed. The nascent rebellion that was under way in Pandemonium has ignited into an all-out revolution in Requiem, and Lena is at the center of the fight.
After rescuing Julian from a death sentence, Lena and her friends fled to the Wilds. But the Wilds are no longer a safe haven—pockets of rebellion have opened throughout the country, and the government cannot deny the existence of Invalids. Regulators now infiltrate the borderlands to stamp out the rebels, and as Lena navigates the increasingly dangerous terrain, her best friend, Hana, lives a safe, loveless life in Portland as the fiancée of the young mayor. Requiem is told from both Lena’s and Hana’s points of view. The two girls live side by side in a world that divides them until, at last, their stories converge.
YES. I am absolutely guilty of having not read this book yet, but of course this is not published yet. BUT, I am jealous of the ones who’ve read it already!!! Anyway, March is still faraway..That’s the point of this exercise right? to lose myself in some way while obsessing about a book! To help lessen the agony of waiting I think...:)

So, what are you waiting on today?

  4. I can't wait for this, the ending of Pandemonium was so good, that I need this, like really soon. March does seem far away, especially when waiting on something. :) Nice pick.
