Hi guys! Today, we have a tour stop for the Timeless Blog Tour, hosted by Michelle Madow, the author of the Transcend Time Saga.
I’m very excited to be part of this blog tour, as I loved the books of Michelle Madow. Today, we have a special guest post from the author herself. It’s about the top ten eras in time Michelle wants to visit. I really loved the ideas she has. Check it out!
Top Ten Eras in Time to Visit
I have loved the idea of time travel since I was a kid. My love of anything time travel explains why I was inclined to include time travel in the final book of the Transcend Time Saga, Timeless, which came out on November 20, 2012. I’m super excited to be sharing the top ten eras I would like to visit in time!
1) The Regency Era in England
I suppose this is an obvious response, since the Transcend Time Saga revolves around teenagers remembering past lives they lived in the Regency Era. My love of this time period stemmed from one of my all-time favorite love stories, Pride and Prejudice.
2) The Golden Age of Rome
I’ve loved Roman history since I was a kid, and think it’s incredible how people living two thousand years ago built such beautiful buildings. I would love to travel back in time and see what the Roman ruins looked like in their prime!
3) Ancient Greece
I would love to walk through the Athenian Acropolis right after it was built and see what it looked like in its heyday!
4) Tudor England
I must admit, my interest in this time period began when I devoured Philippa Gregory’s historical fiction books that took place during this era. I would love to see what court life was like—it seems like they had such wonderful parties!
5) The Titanic
This isn’t technically an “era,” but oh well! I’ve always been interested in the Titanic, and would love to see what it was like to travel on the luxury ship (in first class, of course.) I would be sure to time travel back home before it sinks, though! The Titanic II will go on it’s maiden voyage in a few years, and I would love to go on it.
6) Ancient Egypt
Pyramids, palaces, and feasts aboard boats floating on the Nile! I would love to see what Egypt looked like when it was the most advanced civilization in the world.
7) The Italian Renaissance
It would be lovely to visit Florence during the Renaissance period, and see what it was like when all the great artists lived there creating their masterpieces.
8) Pompeii before Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD
In elementary school I had this picture book about Pompeii, and I loved it! I read that book a gazillion times. Then, in seventh grade when I started taking Latin, our textbook told the story of a family living in Pompeii before the eruption. I did well in Latin that year because of my interest in Pompeii! (Unfortunately, my eighth grade textbook was not about Pompeii, so I didn’t do as well in Latin that year.) It would be so cool to see Pompeii when it was a thriving Italian city.
9) Camelot
All right, I know it’s questionable (and probably fiction) that Camelot existed. But if it did, it would be wonderful to see!
10) The Dinosaur Era
As long as I was protected from the T-Rexes! But really … it would be cool to see the dinosaurs!

To make matters worse, even if she can figure out who cast the curse, it's irreversible. There's only one option left for her to save herself. It's crazier than anything she's heard yet, and to do it, she'll need Drew and Chelsea's help.
Because to make things right, they must go back to when it all began … and Lizzie discovers that the final events in her past life were more sinister than she ever imagined.

About the Author:
Michelle Madow was inspired to write Remembrance after seeing Taylor Swift's "Love Story" music video while a junior at Rollins College in Winter Park, FL. The song and video gave her the story idea about a high school girl reincarnated from Regency Era, England. She handed in the first chapter as a homework assignment for class, and when her teacher and classmates wanted her to continue writing, she decided to go for it. By the end of the school year, her first novel was completed!
Michelle graduated from the Park School of Baltimore in 2005, where she always took two English classes each semester. She graduated from Rollins College in 2010, cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English. At Rollins she was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and a member of the International English Honor Society Sigma Tau Delta.
She received the Charles Hyde Pratt Award for Excellence in Creative Writing in 2010.
Michelle lives in Florida, where she is hard at work writing more novels for young adults.
