HI guys! WE have a tour stop for The Ghost of Josiah Grimshaw’s blog tour today. You can find a Tens post from Suzy Turner below and find out why she chose London as the setting for her book.
The Ghost of Josiah Grimshaw
by Suzy Turner
Adopted sisters Lana Beth and Emma Jane are polar opposites, but when the same strange 'tattoo' suddenly appears and winds its way up their bodies within days of each other, they soon realise there's more to their relationship than they could ever have imagined.Sent off to London for two weeks of 'work experience', the Morgan Sisters soon find themselves being initiated into the ancient Praxos Foundation, one that protects the innocent while fighting evil, both human and supernatural. At the same time, Lana Beth and Emma Jane must also investigate why the sweet but sometimes pesky ghost of Josiah Grimshaw just won't leave them alone.

Ten reasons why I chose London as the setting for The Ghost of Josiah Grimshaw
by Suzy Turner
1. London is a huge city with so many secret locations that are perfect hiding places for all things paranormal (long dark tunnels, for example).
2. London has so much historical significance, with places perfect for two sisters to get lost in, for example, Lana Beth has an unusual memory experience within an old derelict building that was once a place where the capital's aristocracy would party.
3. Abney Park, a huge overgrown and derelict cemetery located within London, is the ideal creepy and terrifying location for the Watchers' first meeting with the Skulls.
4. Lana Beth and Emma Jane Morgan are 16 year old sisters with completely different tastes. So when they are finally able to go clothes shopping, London certainly has it covered! For instance, fashion conscious Lana goes crazy on Oxford Street whereas goth girl Emma is right at home in Camden.
5. Its the closest big city to Andilyse Island (off the south east coast of England... oh okay then I'll admit it... Andilyse is a fictional island created for The Morgan Sisters novels), where the sisters are from.
6. London is so culturally diverse, it allowed me to introduce characters from all over the world.
7. Mark Killeen, a British actor (and friend) who inspired the book is a true Londoner and so the character based on him, Declan Alexander, just had to live there.
8. Emma Jane is terrified of large bodies of water (and thunder storms!) and so the Thames was the ideal location to... well, you'll have to read the book to find out what it was the ideal location for ;)
9. London has so many weird and wonderful people, it's the perfect place to hide if you're not entirely normal.
10. Who doesn't love London? :)
I agree Suzy, who doesn’t love London? I love it even if I’ve never been. lol. :)
