When Wendy Everly was six years old, her mother was convinced she was a monster and tried to kill her. Eleven years later, Wendy discovers her mother might have been right. She’s not the person she’s always believed herself to be, and her whole life begins to unravel—all because of Finn Holmes.
Finn is a mysterious guy who always seems to be watching her. Every encounter leaves her deeply shaken…though it has more to do with her fierce attraction to him than she’d ever admit. But it isn’t long before he reveals the truth: Wendy is a changeling who was switched at birth—and he’s come to take her home.
Now Wendy’s about to journey to a magical world she never knew existed, one that’s both beautiful and frightening. And where she must leave her old life behind to discover who she’s meant to become…

My Thoughts:

This book was extremely addicting. I was hooked since the first page. First, the story was unlike any other. Trolls? Yeah, I thought of the little earth people too. But then Amanda Hocking created her own original versions of Trolls..but they're called Trylles. I love how Hocking was able to fuse trolls and monarchy and the changelings stories all into one.

I also love how the novel is not purely about trolls and stuff, but the novel also involves family relationships. And I don't if my hormones are just up this week but I cried a lot with the book. Matt and Maggie's love for Wendy was cery admirable. In fact, I cried a lot because of those lovely moments they shared. I just wish they were emphasized more. The romance part of the book? I wasn't very much fond of. I am not a fan of those quick and immediate ones. But I will see through how far Finn and Wendy's will last. One more thing, I hate hate those "not answering questions" parts because "it's not yet time". It simply is not 'mystery'. I know and understand mystery. But that? It's forcefully withholding information, and I don't appreciate it. :(

However, despite those discrepancies, I am willing to forego and let those pass by because I love the story so much. Also, I am still giving it 4star. just because I can, and I am actually feeling generous tonight. :)
