My Thoughts:

I still think the title of the last book is ridiculous. Really, 'Finale'? I think they could have done better by coming up with another name. Anyway, I would really love to give it a 5-star rating but I had lots of problems with the novel. So, at this point, I'm still undecided with what rating to give.

First, I still can't get over how there were 4 books in the book. If you asked me, "Silence" was unnecessary. The only vital scene there was the ending. Anyway, what's done is done. When I started reading Hush Hush last 2009, I didn't expect the ending I now know to be the ending of the series. To be honest, I don't even know what I expected, just not this. The ending was kind of cruel. Yes, one loved character will die, but that's already a given. You know, killing off some important people seem to be a necessary evil in every novel. They couldn't just give a completely whole happy ending. In the first book, I super loved Nora. I loved how honest and courageous she was. In Crescendo, Things were better than ever despite the circumstances and fights she had with Patch. In Silence, I fell in love with Patch, but despite that, I still stand by my original opinion that the series could have done without Silence. In "Finale", Nora is already Nephilim, and with that she also harnessed new capabilities. I hoped she slowly gained those physical strength she now has because it felt like everything happened so fast. One day she's human, then she lost all her memory then she became Nephilim and now she's kinda invincible? Also, she was really irritating half of the time. Gone is the Nora I loved in the first place. :( but, The Patch I love lingered on, so...:) Another issue I have is how harsh the ending was. Spoiler: I felt like the purpose of eradicating the whole existing race of ----- happened just so Nora and Patch can have their happy ending. And I also felt that Nora became Nephilim so she can live a looong life with Patch. And seriosuly, what's up with the not marrying thing? Their vow was really romantic and all, but I kind of wished Becca Fitzpatrcik did not delete the possibili that they can get married in the future. You know hanging your last name and stuff is still different from just the blood vow etc. anyway..gosh! I can't believe I didn't like lots of things inthe book!

In all fairness though, if I were only to give my opinion on the last book "Finale", I would say it was good. The twist was really unexpected. What I expected was Nora's plans will fail because seriosuly, all the MC's plans in all the books I've read doesn't get what they planned, but they will aceunexpected challenges that seem impossible but then they always get through..and get their happy ending. And that's what happened in "Finale". Overall, I guess I'm happy..generally speaking.
