Hi guys! THis is just an update on my Bloggiesta goals. I think I’m mostly successful. haha.
make posts for the blog tours I joined in (I made some of them already but some needs editing still)- make the author interview posts
put “upcoming blog tours” banners on the side of my blogmake Waiting on Wednesdays posts for the whole month of October (ha!)- make Thoughts on Tuesdays posts for October too (I made a list of topics months ago and they are still on my notes sitting untouched, lol)
update my REVIEW list (on which I have a header on my blog, but there’s barely anything there)- try and figure out to maybe use mailchimp? Something like that.
Okay, I failed to make Thought on Tuesdays post, but I will do that in the upcoming days. And I still haven’t figured out mailchimp, so maybe that will be a task for another month. Lol. I’m still waiting for the feedburner changes. But I feel that it won’t be really gone, so we’ll see.
For the “mini challenges” I met along the way, I was able to go to hubspot and had my blog site graded. My score was 85, which is pretty good, I think. But< I already refuse to make the “suggestions” they gave in improving my site in terms of marketing, because as one blogger tweeted, we should write whatever we want on our blog, because it’s a hobby, not a burden. And I agree. :) So I refuse to be burdened by all of this. All at our own pace, right? haha.
So that’s it. I’m pretty happy with my achievements. I’m looking forward to another Bloggiesta (I heard it’s next January?). I hope I’ll participate more next time. :))
xoxo,

I'm glad you got a lot done this time around. I agree with you that you have to keep the blog about what you want it to be about. You can't constantly be thinking about marketing because then the blog becomes something that doesn't represent you and your own interests.
