My September Escapade!

Hi guys! I’m not usually the type who shares events in her life in her book blog, but because I wanted to share a “piece of me” with you my readers (as I read a lot about your lives too in your blogs), I decided to share some exciting stuffs that happened to my life (currently boring,lol).

So, just this week, the American Idol 2012 batch came to the Philippines for their only Asian tour! I was so happy since I’m a fan, and for the past 11 seasons of AI, this is my favorite batch. Because of Colton and Phillip! lol. Well, okay, I also think the talents this year were really good! like all of them were good! So, I bought plane tickets to Manila to watch the concert! And before I left Davao (my home city), I learned that the Phantom of the Opera musical was extended until October 14! So I bought tickets for that too! I am an absolute fan of the movie and book! (have you read the book? Anyway).

Here are some of our photos. Ooh, by the way, I went with my cousin, Alyanna. I was  a total bad influence to her because I made her leave work for a few days! :) All for my love of AI and theater. :)

I have this mad obsession of downloading/buying a play’s musical record after watching the musical. I did so with Mama Mia, Ghost the Musical and Sister Act. And of course with Phantom, I also did the same. And not only that! I watched the movie again! I was 14 when I first watched the movie. Now, I’m 21, and I am more in love with Gerard Butler! Seriously, who wouldn’t? The Phantom is just so heart wrenching! and yes, I cried- both in theater and movie.

oh! and my cousin and I made these posters. Incredibly embarrassing! But we think Colton and PHillip saw them. And to say we are happy is an understatement. :)
