My rating:

While trying to score a date with her cute co-worker at the Scooper Dooper, sixteen-year-old Audrey gains unwanted fame and celebrity status when her ex-boyfriend, a rock musician, records a breakup song about her that soars to the top of the Billboard charts.
My Thoughts:
The smart and witty narration of Audrey's side of the story held my attention focused on the book all the way.
After reading the book, I want to download every song where the title of each chapter comes from. I don't know but I have this wish to be good in making playlists/mix CD's. But I'm just not good with it,lol. The great reviews about this book is totally correct! I admire and loved every bit of it. It made me wanna sing the song, dance the tune, and bob my head with the music. The story in itself is very well narrated. Told in Audrey's point of view, kind of the back story to the song " Audrey, wait!". I experienced what she experienced- how short-term popularity (like nationwide!) changed her life. It was insane! I actually admire her character in dealing with it. This may be a chick lit book, but it's not just one of those books. For me it held some meaning, and I actually picked up a lesson or two from the story. Staying humble is very important and staying true to your feelings. If Audrey didn't break up with Evan, what would have happened? what would not have happened? Things like that made me realize some stuffs in my life. Anyway!
In a gist, the book is musically good, entertaining and so much fun to read! Lots of laugh and love for this!
