Waiting on Wednesday: Sever by Lauren DeStefano

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme by Jill from Breaking the Spine, featuring books that we are excited upon.

For the month of October, my WoW posts will be centered on series-ender books, particularly to the series that I love and have watched out for for the past years. :)

This week, I'm waiting on Sever by Lauren DeStefano. Here's the blurb:

Title: Sever
Series: The Chemical Garden Trilogy #3
Author: Lauren DeStefano
Publisher: Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers
Expected Publication: February 12, 2013
Time is running out for Rhine in this conclusion to the New York Times bestselling Chemical Garden Trilogy.
With the clock ticking until the virus takes its toll, Rhine is desperate for answers. After enduring Vaughn’s worst, Rhine finds an unlikely ally in his brother, an eccentric inventor named Reed. She takes refuge in his dilapidated house, though the people she left behind refuse to stay in the past. While Gabriel haunts Rhine’s memories, Cecily is determined to be at Rhine’s side, even if Linden’s feelings are still caught between them.
Meanwhile, Rowan’s growing involvement in an underground resistance compels Rhine to reach him before he does something that cannot be undone. But what she discovers along the way has alarming implications for her future—and about the past her parents never had the chance to explain.
In this breathtaking conclusion to Lauren DeStefano’s Chemical Garden trilogy, everything Rhine knows to be true will be irrevocably shattered.(goodreads)

My THOUGHTS:
The first time I saw the cover of Wither, it was on the author's site, and it was not yet published. Since then, I waited for Wither's release. I cannot believe that was already almost two years ago. How time flies so fast. And Sever, the final book in the trilogy is already coming out! I couldn't be happier. Plus, the book covers of the trilogy are the best! Seriously, all the models are pretty, and their gowns are to die for! And I love the different trinkets and stuffs that surrounds them, because they symbolize for somethng important in the story. I love it! :))

  1. Sadly I have yet to start this series! I own the first book but have been putting it off because of all the hype surrounding this series. I'm really glad you love the series though and that it is worth reading.

I hope you enjoy this book once you get a chance to read it :)
