Hello! My blog just turned 1 year! *squeeaaals!* ( April 7, 2012 was the exact date, nvm the tardiness,lol). Anyway, I still can’t believe it’s been a year since I started blogging. Can I do a happy dance? *happy dances* hahah. By the way, I would like to take this time to thank everyone here in the blog world ( I didn’t realize there was a whole new world of blogging until I made one myself). For all those free tutorials out there, and other free stuffs. Most especially to the big book blogs (the story siren, i am a reader not a writer,etc) who helped me directly/inderectly. To all those who also followed and commented on my blog! Thank you! :) Also thanks to my friend who made my blogoversary banner, Raffy! (show your support and check out his food blog: HERE) *seriously this guy makes awesome yummy scrumpttious food!* ...:)
Time runs so fast! and at the same time so much has happened the past year, both bad and good. *insert sigh*. (I’m turning bipolar,lol)
Moving on to the highlight of this post! To celebrate my ONE YEAR BLOGOVERSARY (as bloggers call they’re (our) blog anniversaries), I will giveaway books, lots of them! ;) I’ve thought hard and decided to have not one, but THREE (yes, skipped two,haha) PRIZE PACKS. If I were a character, I would be Savannah Dubrinsky for a few reasons. How cool would it be to be PRINCESS of the Carparthians? BETTER YET, I would absolutely loved to be the lifemate of Gregori, the Carparthian feared by all children; yet most caring and gentle with Savannah.

First congrats on your blogoversary! Secondly picking a character to be is always so difficult because there are just so many! I guess if I had to pick just one I would pick Delilah from Otherworld. I love her shifting ability and the closeness of her family even if it isn't everyones classic idea of one. Her life isn't easy but she just deals with it the best she can and I think it makes it more real that she has difficulties vs just having things handed to her.

ReplyDeleteTo answer your question, I would want to be Fire from Fire by Kristin Cashore. NOT because she's absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. No, I would want to be able to have the inner strength that she has, as well as the outer strength. Fire is a determined, strong-willed character with just enough insecurities to make her seem more human. Also, she has that ability to manipulate and sense thoughts, which is pretty awesome :D

ReplyDeleteI'd probably be Thea from Hooked by Catherine Greenman. I loved her character and the fact she was pregnant, but saw through to have her baby and lived in New York. Who doesn't love New York? I'd love the feeling to be pregnant, it seems magical.
I always really related to Hermione. Being married to Ron would also be a perk.

I'd love to be a character from a Madeleine L'Engle novel--but a new character, not one of the existing ones, if you take my meaning. (When I was younger, I wrote FanFic in which her Murry family had one more daughter, and I was she! LOL!)
