Jennifer L. Armentrout Summer Blog Tour: post + giveaway
Hi guys! I’m so excited to be posting a feature on one of my fave authors, Jennifer Armentrout! Thank you especially to Kayleigh who organized this tour. Don’t forget to check out the other posts on this tour! I’m sure you’ll learn a lot about who this amazing author is and her books. :)
I really don’t remember when I’ve first seen the books of Jennifer Armentrout, but I can remember that after reading the synopsis of the book (from goodreads), I wanted to read it..so bad. I was then linked to the author’s page where I saw all this “team Alex” and other teams on the side and then I saw the trailer of the Half-blood series, then I wanted to read that book too!
When I finished Half-blood and Obsidian, it was very evident to me that I will follow this series and I was addicted. Much to my delight, I’ve found other bloggers who loved the series especially the author behind it.
I actually met Jennifer Armentrout at BEA this year. I went over and passed by Spencer Hill Press, and casually chatting with a rep, then she gave me an ARC of Deity upon learning that I also received Pure earlier this year *squeals!*. Then I chatted with some bloggers who dropped by too, without any reason, I glanced over to my left, and lo and behold Jennifer is there! I wasn’t too sure it was her. Boldly, I came up to her and asked “you’re Jennifer Armentrout, right?” to that she replied “yes, I am!” and I think I was grinning wildly like a child on a Christmas morning opening her presents. I asked to take a picture with her plus she also signed the book! One of the highlights of my BEA this year. :)
So now as part of my gratitude in meeting Jennifer Armentrout, I will giveaway swags from her books. This will be INTERNATIONAL.
I LOVED Obsidian so i would LOVE to get my own copy of Onyx lol I can't wait to read Onyx:)

Love, love, love Jennifer L. Armentrout writing!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all I would like to say fantastic blog! I had a
ReplyDeletequick question that I'd like to ask if you don't mind.
I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear
your head before writing. I have had trouble clearing my mind
in getting my ideas out there. I do take pleasure in writing however it just
seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are usually lost simply just
trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or hints?
Many thanks!
Have a look at my website ... keep Reading
To be honest, I have never read a JLA book before. They look amazing though, and I think I will read one very soon, as it's (half-blood) lying on my TBR pile right now ^^
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
